Cronulla is a mix of beachside apartments, older cottages and newer unit blocks, and that mix shapes the rubbish removal jobs we see here. The crews we work with handle a lot of apartment and strata clean-outs around the Esplanade, Gerrale Street and the streets near the station, where access is the real challenge. Lifts need to be booked and padded, loading zones are tight, and parking a truck near the beach on a weekend takes planning. Crews that know Cronulla sort this before they arrive.
Common jobs in Cronulla
- Apartment clean-outs before an end of lease, including furniture carried down by lift or stairs
- Strata common-area clearances, dumped items in basements and bin rooms
- Old cottage clear-outs ahead of a renovation or sale
- Salt-tired outdoor furniture, barbecues and balcony junk
- Garage and storage cage clean-outs
Because the crews load everything for you, there is no skip bin sitting on the street. That matters in Cronulla, where many buildings have no spare kerb space and street space for skips near the beachfront is limited. A skip on the road also needs council approval. A truck arrives, the team carries everything out, sweeps up and leaves the same day.
What it costs
Pricing depends on volume, access and what is being removed. Stairs and long carries from upper-floor units add time, so quotes for apartment jobs vary. As a guide only, small loads start from around $70 to $150 for a minimum callout and full truckloads run higher. See our rubbish removal cost guide for typical ranges, then get an exact price on your job.
Frequently asked questions
Can a crew remove rubbish from an apartment with no parking?
Yes. The crews we work with handle Cronulla units regularly. They plan lift bookings and loading zones with you or your building manager before the job.
Do I need strata approval for a clean-out?
For items inside your own unit, usually not. For common areas or lift use, check with your strata manager. The crew can supply details your building may ask for.
How fast can a crew get to Cronulla?
Often the same day or next day, depending on load size and the time you enquire. Mention your timeframe when you ask for a quote.
